Looks like I'll be flying up and down the coast of California a lot this summer. The coming months are filled with weddings, bay to breakers, birthdays and family visits. San Francisco is the place I call home, but sadly the allure of couch surfing during my visits is fading and the need for my own space is crucial. Luckily, San Fran is a hub of the technologically hip, and it has tons of amazing vacation rentals to choose from. This week I'm especially smitten with this cozy, classy and charming Victorian flat located on in the Fillmore District of Pacific Heights (aka. Lower Pack Heights) for just $165 a night.
Note: the below pics don't do it justice. please click HERE for more photos from airbnb.
This one bedroom, one bath has the quintessential San Francisco charm. Its 1100 square feet includes laundry, tandem outdoor parking and a private outdoor deck with a grill. Centrally located on California street, you are just a block from the muni and a short walk to the adorable shops of Filmore Street and Divisadero. Its places like this....that make me home sick. sigh.
Give Me Somethine More: I'm in a bit of a pickle and don't have enough time to write details on this adorable part of the city....but the NY Times Travel section has a pretty kickin' 36 hour guide this week. Check it out!
Happy Bay To Breakers.
